1.4.11-Hodgepodge Of Thoughts

Today was one of those days in class.

I gave a unit exam today and my girls acted like they had never seen this stuff before. Mind you they received review sheets before the winter break and I went over it with them in class yesterday.  So when I heard, I don't know any of this stuff, I'm not doing this, I don't care...it just gets under my skin.  Real Talk: I had a convo with one of the girls who was getting frustrated. It went something like this:

Me: Did you study last night?

S: NO

Me: Well why not?

S: What do you expect us to do? Go home and open up our notebooks and look at the review sheets?

Me: YES

S: Well I'm not that kind of student

Me: Well you should make that your new years resolution to be that kind of student or you are going to be the kind of student that has to repeat this class next year because she failed this year.

I swear these chicks are going to stress me out. I'm going to have to give my 2 weeks notice in or take a medical leave of absence.

I think my profession is the only one where your goal is to help someone out but end up getting abused and still have to keep showing back up with a positive attitude and a desire to help your abusers.  Such an unhealthy situation.

After work  I met up with the BP so we could have our weekly business meeting.  We had 3 inquiries about one of our rental properties.  I think it'll be rented out by the end of the week. YAY!!!  After checking up on our 2nd rental property we found evidence of invasion. Nothing is in there to be taken but it was obvious someone had been in there that was not invited. I think the next time they try to enter they'll have two not so friendly and quite hungry pitt bulls to deal with.  (Mind you didn't just read that on here)  Its not illegal to protect your home with guard dogs right?  IF so then i'll be waiting in the house next time full loaded!  #KnowYourRights

Moving on.

Million Dollar Money Drop

 I need to be on this show. I know I could win big.  Who has connects with getting onto a show like this?

Speaking of millions...Did everyone get their Mega Millions Tickets today?  I'm call the 6 numbers now: 7, 21, 33, 08, 46, 3 

PURPLE PRIDE-  Baltimore is getting dressed up for the Playoffs.  Its that time of year where Federal Hill gets its makeover and the lights turn a lovely shade of purple.  I can't wait to take a stroll through the Inner Harbor and get some pics of the logo of the team thats going all the way to DALLAS for the Superbowl.  Yeah Baby :)

Well, its getting late. I need to get better at posting at a regular time.
