1.12.11- 2 Hour Delays

We had a 2 hour delay today!!!!!  Oh what wonderful news to hear. I got to stay in bed until 9am. Its tough to get out the bed knowing that you have a 2 hour delay and that the normal school day is an early dismissal day.  The hallways were eerily silent today. Maybe its because there were like 15 students in the entire building.  My 2nd block had a whopping 2 students.  Surprisingly they wanted to work on their Element project so I let them use the computer in my classroom.

Afterwards we had meetings that basically did absolutely nothing to benefit our practice. Such is life.  

Tucson Memorial-

I think this tragedy was senseless and that kid responsible for killing all those people looked crazy to begin and will get the death penalty with out question.  Could you imagine being one of the people to subdue that murderer? 

On a more positive note, President Obama's speech was amazing. That man is a better orator than good ole Billy Clinton and that man could talk the panties off of any intern!!!

But on a more serious note. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims as well as Sen. Giffords
