So I haven't really spoken much about this new "relationship" because it was soo new and I don't want to get too caught up too soon in thinking something is going one way when in fact its not. HOWEVER, this particular situation begs some feedback in dating protocol.
Boy meets girl, boy gets girls number, boy calls girl, boy and girl start hanging out. Boy and girl like each other and share that with each other. Boy and girl spend time together on a semi-regular basis.
Now the caveat is that at no point in time has there been a discussion on exclusivity. However, girl has taken a vow of celibacy so the physical piece is more or less a moot point. Fast forward.
Boy gets invited to an event by a "friend" but knows that girl will be at said event as well. Girl isn't stupid and knows that said "friend" is also a girl. Girl doesn't get upset about this fact because she knows and understands that there is no verbal agreement between boy and girl of the first part that demands exclusivity. However when boy and "friend" walk into the room boy doesn't even greet girl of the first part. Is that a little suspect? Maybe boy didn't see girl of the first part but girl of the first part was looking damn good, how could he miss her? :)
I think girl of the first part's feelings are a little hurt because it should have been HER with boy at that event and this whole situation came just after boy and girl kinda took their friendship to another level.
So what does girl do with boy? Does she ask him about the "Friend"? Does girl act like its NOTHING and keep it moving? Should girl wait for boy to bring it up? Does girl even have a right to expect any explanation from boy?
